And things are looking up!

Well, in the last week I have gotten 50 page views on My shop ! I also have gotten some new followers!
And today, I booked my first Bizarre for the holiday season!
I am so excited I can't even begin to express it!
I also have 3 new projects almost finished! Which should it help  My Shop ! So much fun to see things look up!

I have a list of things to get for my Bizarre appearance in November!

So watch for a piece of art, a scarf and maybe a hat or two!

Project upcycle #1

The start of Project upcycle #1.
I took an old broken chandelier, removed the lighting guts, painted it a basic white and then added some kitchy sauces/cups. I also have the creamer/sugar bowl to match the tea cups and saucers.
This is a great project.

Upcoming items I want to make:

While I love my creative side, I have taken to starting to write down my creative ideas.
Why? Well, it would seem that I suffer from " Absent minded Artist" syndrome. So, if you are unfamiliar with what this is, let me break it down.
I am up late most nights. During these late night hours I am at my best to complete work and find inspiration. This happens for a couple reasons, I think.
 1) I have a peaceful house with no distractions ( which includes my almost 8 yr old son running a muck and nagging at me " Mom, I am hungry" " Mom, I'm bored" " Mom, I want to go outside and play." This is also the hazard of SUMMER VACATION still being in effect for 2 more weeks.
2)I am relaxed and can allow my mind to wander as I enjoy some of my favorite hobbies/pass times ect.
Yet, what all this leads to is great strokes of genius that I will likely forget when I get up in the morning.
So, that being said... I am going to share what I have up my sleeve ( not all of it, but some of it) for My Etsy Shop .

1) Scarf/hat sets ( 2 new ones)
2) Hat/fingerless glove sets ( 2-3 sets)
3) Baby booties ( 1 set)
4) Baby sweaters ( 3 new ones)
5) 2 adult shawls
6) 1 crowl scarf
7) 2 scarves ( 1 infinity, one random)
8) Jewelry ( earrings, wrist cuff, barefoot sandals)
9) Crochet baby dolls
10) League of Legends inspired items.

Now, when all of this hits the shop, well that will depend on when I can FINALLY get rid of this Migraine.  I have had a steady headache for over 2 weeks now. Most of it being a HUGE and painful Migraine. Tonight it was the worst. I hope it goes away soon. My poor business is suffering for it!
Now, I also have some art pieces to finish up soon too! They have been on hold since the headaches started.

Oh well. Now I ask all of you: What would you like to see in my shop this fall?

Leaves are turning colors

Well, I guess fall is starting early in this area. The leaves are turning. So, I started a shawl for myself.  Got half done a scarf too.

Homemade Cleaners!

I have always had a thing for making cleaning products myself. I also am a " natural cures" kind of girl!
I don't want to have to look at a label and go " Oh, look at those chemicals!"
So, with that being said I have been in my garden and decided this year I am going to use my herbs to make cleaning products myself.
Mostly a very general cleaner made of Vinegar and fruits/herbs! The smell of vinegar fades and you only smell the freshness of the herbs/fruits I use!

Barefoot sandals?

Who has seen these items? Do you think they are accessories? Are they jewelry?
I think they are awesome. I have been busy outside in my garden for the last month in my spare time. I like to garden in my bare feet. So the idea of making my feet look nicer is fantastic to me!
Some of the ones I have seen are OUTSTANDING!  Maybe I should take a bigger slice of this cake?

Well, I seem to be finding new things to inspire me!
Posts on Pinterest being the biggest time sink right now! I am spending HOURS on there! The upcycling iteas I have is making my head spin!

I am going to try to keep this more current than I have recently.
But things to look forward to in the fall- More styles of scarves! More hats!

Hello after a long break!

Long time no hear! Sorry I took a break from here and forgot about it!
So an update- I was busy busy through the fall and winter with scarf orders, hats, sweaters and gloves.
This spring I was spending time getting things set to try this fall. New patterns, products for summer ( barefoot sandals).
Now I am looking towards fall. I have to ask- What would you all like to see? Blankets? Sweaters? Gloves? Different style hats? More variety in Scarves?
